Back to the circus

Take me back to the circus! Michael Pattison transformed fashion week into a circus today with his 'Carnivale' collection. The styling may have been crazy-carnie with freaky facial piercings and devil horn hair-dos, but the clothes were beautifully tailored and very wearable.

I was a little frightened when the show began with a scary giant stilt-walker in a trench coat and devilish make-up. But my fear turned to laughter when a little person shot through this giant man's legs on a scooter! It was a fiery start to Michael's show, which displayed his theatrical side as well as his design talent.

Witty t-shirt prints, fabulous suits, beautiful blouses, all your key winter pieces were there. Stripes were a big look, seen on long sleeve t-shirts, mini dresses and an adorable leotard. It was in the tailoring that Michael's talent really shone; his waistcoats and jackets were immaculate. My favourite pieces were his jeans; the red and black velvet ones were seriously sexy. And nobody has to miss out, because these puppies are unisex.

We were in for one last treat when Michael came out as the ringmaster, snapping his whip to applause and cheering from all around. Michael, the verdict is in – you are Fashion Week's Next Top Model!
